Jolly Caffè was born in Florence in 1953 from the project of its founder Dante Belardinelli. The company's commitment has always been to provide public establishments with a blend for Espresso of unique excellence and a constant organoleptic profile over time.

Jolly Caffè considers the culture of the true Italian Espresso to be fundamental and in order to spread it the company pays attention to the quality of the blends, to the diffusion of adequate professionalism among the operators in the sector, and to the satisfaction of the final consumer. Jolly Caffè has always been active in promoting and protecting the quality of blends and espresso. Already in 1989, she was a founding member of the "consortium coffee roasters" - since 1992 "consortium Grancaffè" - which brings together the 11 highest quality coffee roasters in the country.

Going ahead of the times and fashions, over 20 years ago, in 1993 Jolly Caffè started the collaboration with the “international institute of coffee tasters” (IIAC), to outline a profile of quality coffee; at that time there was neither a definition of Italian espresso nor a scientific method that described its characteristics from a technical and sensorial point of view. Always with a view to quality as an integral part of corporate values, in 1998 Jolly Caffè was a founding member of the Italian national espresso institute (INEI), a non-profit institution to defend and promote Italian espresso in Italy and around the world. In this regard, UNI EN ISO 9000 certification is obtained for roasted and ground coffee beans. All the efforts made led in 1999, Jolly Caffè to be the first Italian company to obtain the certification of a certified Italian espresso brand. The tradition still continues and in 2014 Jolly Caffè is still engaged as a founding member of the EIC institute, which brings together companies of excellence of Made in Italy.

About our coffee

Our coffee is the highest expression of Italian Espresso. We choose the beans to buy, we transform them, thanks to the roasting, into fragrant grains, which are entrusted to other expert hands to be ground and dosed, the powder is finally extracted with a special machine. In each of our products, you can find a quality blend so that each cup is an engaging sensory experience with an unmistakable and recognizable taste.
