Producer info:  Comayagua is the most productive and diverse of Honduras’ 15 coffee producing regions. Many farmers in Comayagua contributed to this coffee, and they all go above and beyond to hone their agricultural practices. As true community leaders, they employ their keen business sense for the benefit of their people, supporting each other along every step of the journey from farm to market. Alfonso Ramos, one of our Guama Danta producers, has been cultivating coffee since the 1960s. He shares his wealth of expertise with farmers in remote areas of Comayagua to help them access the market and negotiate fair prices for their work.

Tasting Notes: Sweet, Nutty, & Dark Chocolate

Description: This coffee is perfect for a nuanced, complex cup. On the front end, you pick up on subtle brightness, well-balanced acidity, and a touch of sweetness. The body is very rich, with notes of creamy, nutty dark chocolate. It finishes with just a bit of earthiness, but remains very mellow and smooth, as well as letting that creaminess linger on the palate long after your cup is gone.
