Salwador SHG

This is a coffee with moderate strength, good body, full flavor, and a hint of acidity and sweetness. It tastes of forest berries, with a spicy-cinnamon finish. Classified as SHG (Strictly Hard Grown), the fruit ripens more slowly in the mountain climate, allowing the beans to retain more natural sweetness with notes of caramel and orange. The harvest runs from October to March. The coffee is wet-processed.

We roast each coffee to order and ship it promptly, so you receive exceptionally fresh coffee (sometimes even too fresh to drink right away – a minimum three-day „rest” is recommended; during these three days after roasting, chemical processes that affect the flavor are still taking place in the coffee).

We select the roast level for each coffee to bring out its natural qualities, but we’re also happy to accommodate your preferences.

We package the coffee in three-layer, high-barrier bags that are hermetically sealed and fitted with a degassing valve and a zipper or clip for repeated opening and closing.

We normally ship coffee whole bean, but on request we can grind it to your preferred coarseness, depending on your brewing method.
