Michael and Chris Omran grew up immersed in coffee culture, spending their childhood in their parents' cafés in the Bay Area. For over 25 years, their father has been passionately involved in humanitarian aid and development projects, working to bring hope and resources to poverty-stricken communities across the Middle East and Africa. His travels led him to Ethiopia, where he discovered some of the most beautiful, high-quality coffee-growing regions.
Driven by a deep love for coffee and a heart for people, the Omran family founded Abana, a family-owned business committed to producing exceptional coffee while creating meaningful, lasting change in Ethiopian communities.
