Hailing from Huehuetenango; a famous Guatemalan "coffee economy" where 80% of the population relies on production, Waykan coffees are selected to showcase a profile that is "true to place." Meaning "star that shines in the sky at night" in the local Maya Q'qnjobal dialect, Waykan is sourced from passionate producers across Chajul, Quiche, Cotzal, and Nebaj.
Through rigorous marathon cuppings, lots scoring 85–86 are blended into clean, crisp Regional Select lots, while exceptional lots scoring 87+ are sold as premium microlots. This meticulous selection process rewards quality, offering a vibrant, dynamic taste of the region
