Saoko

El Oasis is a farm in Bella Vista village, in Ortega, Tolima. It was founded by two chefs, Fernando Bocanegra and Pedro Lugo. They focus on one thing, getting the best out of Gesha. The farm sits at 2150 masl. At this altitude the cherries ripen slowly, which builds sweetness and structure in the bean. After harvest, the cherries are fermented and then dried whole as a natural. They dry in the sun with controlled airflow for 12 to 18 days. This keeps the fruit character clear and the cup stable. In this herbal and fruity coffee, we taste peach, vanilla and sage.
