AMUCC is an association made up entirely of women coffee growers who support their families and involve them in the cultivation and processing methods, while also carrying out a social and environmental sustainability project. Here, coffee is grown at an altitude of 1,750 meters above sea level in volcanic soil. Only two coffee varieties are grown: Castillo and Catuai. Thanks to the association’s strict controls, ongoing education, and strong management, the quality of the coffee is superior, consistently achieving quality scores above 83 SCAA points.
