Cafendo

Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 30 October 2026

These terms apply to everyone who uses cafendo.com, whether you simply browse, create an account, or manage a roaster profile. By using Cafendo you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are

Cafendo is a trade name of WEB PUSH S.R.L., Strada Gheorghe Doja nr. 24, ap. 6, Oradea, Bihor County, Romania, Trade Register no. J05/533/2015, tax identification code RO34330674 ("Cafendo", "we", "us"). Contact: contact@cafendo.com.

2. What Cafendo is

Cafendo is a guide to independent specialty coffee. We collect and present coffees, equipment and accessories offered by independent roasters and shops, together with information about the roasters, coffee origins and brewing.

Cafendo does not sell products. We take no orders and no payments, and we do not ship anything. When you click "Buy" or follow a link to a roaster, you go to the roaster's or retailer's own shop. Any purchase you make there is a contract between you and that shop, under its own terms, including prices, payment, shipping, delivery times, returns, warranty and your consumer rights. Questions or complaints about an order go to the shop you bought from.

3. Product information and prices

We take product details, prices, sizes and availability from the roasters' own websites and data feeds, and we work to keep them current. They can still change at any time or contain errors, and the price, availability and shipping options shown on the shop at the moment you buy always prevail. Shipping countries and costs are set by each roaster; the "Ship to" choice on Cafendo is a guide, so please check on the shop that it delivers to you.

Some texts on Cafendo are translated automatically from the roaster's original language and are marked as such. The original text prevails if a translation is unclear.

Ratings, taste notes and editorial articles are opinions meant to help you choose; they are not guarantees about a product.

4. Links to shops and other websites

Cafendo links to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products, availability or privacy practices. Links to roasters' shops may carry a tag showing that you came from Cafendo. Some links to Amazon are affiliate links: Cafendo may earn a commission on qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. Pages that contain such links say so.

5. Your account

You can browse Cafendo without an account. With an account you can save favourites and write reviews. You must be at least 16 years old to create one. Please give accurate details, keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You can ask us to close your account at any time by writing to us.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example one used for spam, fake reviews or abuse.

6. Reviews and other content you post

Reviews must reflect your own honest experience with the product. Do not post content that is false, misleading, offensive, discriminatory, illegal, advertising, or that infringes someone else's rights or reveals their personal data. Roasters and their staff must not review their own products or a competitor's.

Reviews are checked before they are published, and we may refuse or remove any review that does not follow these rules. Publishing a review does not mean we endorse it.

You keep the rights to what you write. By posting it, you give Cafendo a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to show, translate and reproduce it on Cafendo and in connection with it, for as long as it is published.

7. Roasters

Being listed on Cafendo is free. A roaster with a roaster account can suggest changes to its profile (such as its website, location, social media links, logo and cover picture). We review changes before they are published and may edit or decline them, for example to keep information accurate or to remove content that breaks these terms or someone else's rights.

By sending us logos, pictures or texts, a roaster confirms it has the right to use them and gives Cafendo a free, non-exclusive licence to show them on Cafendo and to use them to promote the roaster's listing on Cafendo. A roaster that no longer wants to be listed can ask us to remove its profile and products.

Roasters can see how many visitors Cafendo sent to their shop. These figures are counts, not personal data about visitors.

8. Acceptable use

Please do not misuse Cafendo. In particular, do not try to break or overload the site, get around its security, access other people's accounts, or collect its content in bulk by automated means (scraping) without our written permission, except for search engines indexing it in the normal way.

9. Intellectual property

The Cafendo name and logo, the design of the site and our editorial texts belong to WEB PUSH S.R.L. or its licensors. Product photos, product descriptions, logos and brand names belong to the roasters and other rights holders and are shown to present their products. You may use Cafendo for your personal, non-commercial use and share links to it, but you may not copy or republish its content without permission.

If you believe content on Cafendo infringes your rights, write to contact@cafendo.com with the address of the page and an explanation, and we will look into it promptly.

10. Availability and liability

Cafendo is provided free of charge and "as is". We work to keep it available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available, error-free or complete.

As we do not sell products, we are not responsible for purchases made on other websites, for products, deliveries, prices or the conduct of roasters and shops. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from the use of Cafendo. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

11. Personal data

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when Cafendo or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes that affect account holders will be announced by email or on the site before they take effect.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue amicably. Otherwise disputes go to the competent courts of Romania, without affecting a consumer's right to go to the courts of their own country where the law allows it. Romanian consumers can also contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC, anpc.ro).
