What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can remember something between pages or visits, such as your language or that you are signed in.
The cookies we use
Cafendo uses only cookies that are needed for the site to work or to remember choices you make. We use no advertising cookies, no tracking cookies and no cookies from social networks. Because these cookies are strictly necessary or store a choice you made yourself, they do not need your consent.

All four are first-party cookies: they are set by cafendo.com and are not shared with anyone else.
Visit statistics, only if you agree
To count visits and see which pages are popular, we use Ahrefs Web Analytics. It does not set cookies and does not identify individual visitors. Even so, it runs only after you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner or switch on "Visit statistics" in the cookie settings. If you choose "Reject", it does not load at all.
Your choice and how to change it
On your first visit, a banner asks whether you agree to visit statistics. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the site works the same either way. You can change your answer at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page; withdrawing your consent does not affect what was counted before. We ask again after 6 months, or sooner if we start using something new that needs your consent.
Other websites
When you follow a "Buy" link or a link to a roaster's website, you leave Cafendo. The shop you arrive at may use its own cookies under its own cookie policy. Some articles may show embedded videos from YouTube or Vimeo; those services may set their own cookies when you play a video.
Controlling cookies in your browser
You can see and delete cookies in your browser settings, and block them altogether. If you block Cafendo's cookies you can still browse the site, but you will not be able to stay signed in, and the site will not remember your language or shipping country.
