A coffee with remarkable aromatic purity
In the heart of the Sidama region, in the Bombe District, at over 2,000 meters above sea level, Messier Washed is produced: a high-altitude coffee grown by the Dukamo family on their historic Shantawene estate.
This unique terroir, characterized by a cool microclimate and nutrient-rich soils, offers ideal conditions for developing rich, well-defined tasting profiles.
Made from the heirloom varieties 74110 and 74158 and processed using the washed method with aerobic fermentation, this coffee offers an exceptionally elegant flavor profile.
The first notes reveal the juicy sweetness of yellow peach and honey, followed by floral hints of violet and green tea.
The sip finishes with intense notes of blueberry and black currant, creating a dynamic, balanced, and lingering cup.
Washed process: an expression of clarity
The washed process with aerobic fermentation is one of the most refined methods for enhancing clarity and brightness in the cup.
After the ripe cherries are hand-selected, the beans are fermented and carefully washed, then slowly dried on raised beds.
This method best preserves the identity of the terroir, highlighting crisp fruity notes, bright acidity, and a silky body.
The result is a harmonious, clear cup in which every aromatic nuance emerges with precision and depth.
This processing reflects the technical rigor and artisanal sensibility of Ethiopian producers.
Sidama: a terroir of precision and biodiversity
The Sidama area is renowned for producing the highest-quality coffee, thanks to the high altitude, temperate climate, and biodiversity that characterize the local ecosystem.
The Dukamo family's farms are set among mountain forests and sustainable agriculture, without the use of pesticides and with full respect for the environment.
Each lot is precisely traceable and managed with a quality-focused approach, from harvesting through drying.
A coffee born from an ancient agricultural heritage and a modern vision, able to combine innovation and tradition.
A coffee for those seeking clarity and depth
This coffee is recommended for filter brewing, where it can best express its aromatic complexity and elegant structure.
Ideal for those seeking a refined, contemporary tasting experience in a cup that tells the story of Ethiopia's purity and the dedication of its producers.
A coffee to savor slowly, exploring every detail and letting yourself be won over by its natural harmony.
