Description

A tropical, juicy natural Gesha: mango, passion fruit, and orange blossom, from Graciano Cruz’s forest finca.

In the cup

The first notes are orange blossom and mandarin, followed by mango, peach, and passion fruit. The finish is floral, with jasmine and nectarine. Bright tropical acidity, long, layered sweetness, and a clean, lingering cup.

The story

Finca Los Lajones stretches across the slopes of Volcán Barú: 160 hectares, 120 of which are primary forest. Graciano Cruz is one of the pioneers of natural and honey processes without water. The cherries for this lot are hand-picked with Brix-level monitoring, hand-sorted, and dried whole on raised beds for up to three weeks.

Competition-grade freshness

All Over Your Limits coffees are stored green, vacuum-sealed, and in the freezer, using the same technique used for competition coffees, and we roast them only when you place your order. The cold halts the aging of the green beans and protects their sugars, acidity, and aromas: this way, every lot reaches your cup with the same profile it had on the day we first tasted it, even months after harvest.

Why Over Your Limits

Because it shows that a natural can be explosive and impeccably clean at the same time.
