We like coffees that aren’t limited to a single brewing method. La Roma tastes just as good as espresso as it does brewed, revealing a slightly different side each time. This is classic Colombian specialty coffee—elegant, balanced, and full of character, made by people shaping the future of their communities through coffee.

Description
In the cup, you’ll find milk chocolate, almonds, and red fruits. The profile is sweet, creamy, and beautifully balanced, with delicate fruitiness, a silky body, and a long, pleasant finish. This coffee shows why Colombia has remained one of the world’s most important specialty coffee countries for years.
This character comes from both the Gaitania region of Tolima and the way this coffee is produced. The beans come from more than 100 small producers who are part of the Black Condor project. Thanks to a shared processing station, all lots are processed to the same high standards—from selecting ripe fruit, through controlled fermentation, to slow drying. The classic washed process highlights the clean flavor, natural sweetness, and elegance of the Caturra and Castillo varieties.
We chose this coffee for more than its cup profile. Black Condor is a project that shows high quality starts with people. More than 100 family farms receive fair compensation, access to knowledge, and modern infrastructure, enabling them to develop their crops and build a future for their communities. We like coffees backed by more than just something great.
