This is another coffee in the Drippin All Day Everyday series, dedicated to alternative brewing methods. These beans offer excellent value for quality. A beautifully balanced specialty coffee with a washed process and a score of 86 points according to SCA. Roasted to a light profile, it’s sure to appeal to everyone who loves pour-over coffee. Ideal for a dripper and Chemex.

Choosing these beans for our series was no accident. Rwanda is a diverse country, rich in fertile soil and blessed with excellent conditions for growing high-quality coffee. Some of the most fruity and sensorially complex coffees come from here. These beans capture the essence of Rwandan coffee, as they are a blend from three different growing regions:

• From the ecological mountain forest region in western Rwanda, around Lake Kivu, right by the border with Congo.
• From Rwanda’s northern regions, rich in volcanic soils and green hills in Gicumbi District.
• From one of the country’s most forested regions in the south, where many smallholder farmers deliver coffee to the Gitega Hills processing station.

In all regions, coffee is grown at elevations of 1,700 to 2,200 meters above sea level. We waited for the next harvest so we could offer these excellent beans again.

The taste and aroma of this coffee: lively lemon acidity, milk chocolate, oranges, grapes, mirabelle plums.
