Kawa Brasilia Santos Fazenda Paraiso

Cerrado Mineiro is a region where Brazilian producers of specialty-grade coffee have joined forces. Coffee trees are grown at high elevations here, and every bag of harvested coffee has its own unique identification number. The PARAISO farm, where our Brasilia Santos comes from, is a 756-hectare family farm owned by Paulo Veloso dos Santos, whose family pioneered high-quality Arabica cultivation in the Cerrado region. The family has been growing coffee since 1970. The farm is located at an elevation of 1,130 meters above sea level. Varieties grown here include Acaiá, Red and Yellow Catuaí, IPR100, IAC125, and Catucaí. Ripe cherries are harvested in August and September, then dried in the sun. Our bags contain coffee from the latest, freshest harvests. The coffee’s flavor is characterized by sweet hazelnut, caramel, chocolate, and delicate citrus fruit notes.
