VANILLA MOCHA, BLACK CHERRY, CLASSIC
A beautiful, comforting washed Colombia from the mountains of Huila.
Nevado de Huila is all about sweetness, balance, and drinkability. We're tasting vanilla mocha, ripe black cherry, and a rich chocolatey sweetness, with just enough fruit to keep things interesting.

Farm Level
COLOMBIA NEVADO DE HUILA
Named after Nevado del Huila, Colombia's highest volcano, this coffee brings together small lots from producers primarily around Santa María and Pitalito, in northern and southern Huila.
The farms sit between approximately 1,600 and 1,900 meters above sea level, growing traditional Colombian varieties including Caturra, Castillo, and Colombia.
Rather than coming from one farm, Nevado de Huila is a carefully assembled community lot, bringing together coffees from multiple small producers who share a commitment to quality.
We love this approach because it creates opportunities for farmers whose individual harvests might be too small to export independently, while giving us a beautifully consistent coffee.
The Coffee Quest
Our sourcing partner, The Coffee Quest, takes a thoughtful approach to building these community lots.
Each producer brings their coffee to a regional buying station, where samples are evaluated individually. Coffees that meet the quality standards move to the warehouse for additional cupping.
Samples are then taken from individual sacks to verify consistency before the coffees are approved and combined into the final lot.
It's a lot more work than simply blending coffees together, but that attention to detail makes a difference.
Just as importantly, this program creates a market for clean, sweet, well-produced coffees beyond the tiny, high-scoring microlots that often receive the most attention.
Great coffee doesn't always need to be rare or experimental. Sometimes it just needs to be grown well, purchased thoughtfully, and roasted with care.
The Process
Nevado de Huila is a washed community blend, composed of individually selected lots from producers throughout the region.
Each coffee is evaluated for quality and consistency before being incorporated into the final blend.
The result is a clean, balanced expression of Huila, with the sweetness and structure we love in traditionally washed Colombian coffees.
