This year, we’ve prepared something very special for you: our limited-edition “Year 1” coffee from Costa Rica!

The coffee beans come from the renowned Finca La Pachuca, run by coffee pioneer Roberto Mata, who has over 50 years of experience. Mr. Mata is not only an expert in his field, but also a pioneer in sustainable coffee farming in Costa Rica. His love for his homeland shines through in every bean.

What makes this coffee so unique? Roberto Mata enjoys experimenting with new processing methods, and his latest innovation is “Juicy Honey Fermentation.” The cherries are depulped and fermented for a full 120 hours together with the pulp from another lot.

The result is a coffee that’s twice as sweet and fruity, with notes of pineapple, lychee, and Mon Cheri Candy—a seriously funky profile!
