An espresso that has impressed more than just us: in 2026, Forecaster was nominated by Crema for Best Espresso of the Year. Fruity, with clear sweetness and a harmonious body—raspberry, red currant, and caramel.

Behind the cup is Dimtu Tero Farm, owned by Getachew Zeleke in the Guji Zone. His goal: to become a leader in quality, traceability, and sustainability—in collaboration with the smallholder coffee farmers of Odo Shakiso. The farm covers 151 hectares; Getachew works with 136 registered smallholder farmers who cultivate a total of 989 hectares. In addition to regular payment, they receive cherry-price premiums, interest-free loans, better equipment, and training in productivity, quality, and sustainability.

Bekele Beriso, a 90-year-old smallholder farmer, says: “We are partners with Getachew. We work hard so that the buyer pays a fair price and rewards us when they are satisfied with our coffee.” Coffee production and processing are ecological, socially responsible, and environmentally friendly.
