Description

The washed twin of Abu Natural: jasmine, citrus, and peach in a cup as clear as crystal.

In the cup

Jasmine opens the tasting, followed by orange blossom and the clean sweetness of apple and peach. Notes of orange, mandarin, and bergamot bring freshness, while green grape, lemongrass, and sugarcane finish with balance. Medium body, juicy mouthfeel, clean finish.

The story

Abu Coffee is located in Cañas Verdes, on the slopes of Volcán Barú, among light mists and volcanic soils. After depulping, the coffee ferments for around 42 hours in sealed GrainPro bags, which are themselves immersed in flowing spring water: the beans never touch the water, which is used only to keep the temperature low and stable. It is then washed and dried on raised beds for around 15 days.

Competition-level freshness

All Over Your Limits coffees are stored green, vacuum-sealed, and in the freezer, using the same technique as for competition coffees, and we roast them only when you place your order. The cold stops green coffee beans from aging and protects their sugars, acidity, and aromas: this way, every lot reaches your cup with the same profile it had on the day we first tasted it, even months after harvest.

Why Over Your Limits

Because it goes beyond by removing the superfluous: only variety, terroir, and precision remain.
