Flavored Coffee – who is it for?

Coffee beans have different flavor notes depending on the variety, growing conditions, processing method, and the region of the world they come from. Coffees from South America generally have chocolate and nutty notes with gentle acidity, while African coffees stand out for their higher acidity and fruity notes. Coffee flavor also depends on whether you brew it traditionally or choose an alternative method.

Despite the wide selection, sometimes we all feel like trying something new—a coffee with an unexpected flavor and aroma. Flavored coffees are an intriguing alternative to traditional coffee.

Flavored coffee – how is it made?

Lower-quality beans are often used to make flavored coffees on an industrial scale. That's why we decided to make our coffees using the highest-quality Arabica. Our flavored coffees are the result of many trials we conducted with different varieties of the finest Arabicas. Ultimately, we chose Peru Arabica as our base. Its balanced profile and low acidity make it an excellent way to bring out the flavor of the added aroma.

Our Peru coffee is grown by the Shankivironi cooperative in the municipality of Pichanaqui, in the province of Chanchamayo, in the department of Junin, in the heart of Selva Central. The local climate and altitude of 1,000–1,800 meters above sea level provide ideal conditions for farming, especially coffee production. Several farmers from Andean tribes such as the Yanesha, as well as Austro-German migrants and their families, grow coffee on small farms.

We use the highest-quality oils to flavor our coffee. After roasting, the beans cool, and when they reach the right temperature, we add the appropriate flavoring. The coffees are then stored in special containers that ensure they are full of flavor and aroma.
