This washed carbonic macerated Geisha absolutely captivated us during our origin trip to Panama and visit to Finca Deborah. We especially love sweet, flavor-packed Geishas that are not "over processed" and reflect the incredible terroir in which the coffee plants can grow and develop undisturbed. Savage Coffee is a collaboration of boutique coffee producers from Boquete Valley and Volcan, Panama, led by Jamison Savage. They work together to develop some of Panama’s best coffees. Their expertise comes from generations of coffee producers who have maintained best-practice techniques and great attention to detail, from cultivation through processing. After years of experimentation and development, they have produced coffees that have competed in many national and world championships (World Brewers Cup, World Barista Championship) and have often placed in the top 10. Growing Area and Region Panama’s coffee industry is centered around Boquete and Volcán. These growing regions, also known as the Valley of Flowers and Eternal Spring, lie along the sides of Baru Volcano and its surrounding foothills. These idyllic locations produce truly distinctive and unique coffees. This highland region is blessed with a terroir of highly volcanic, nutrient-rich soil, abundant moisture, diverse microclimates, regular rainfall, and dense vegetation that ideally nurtures coffee plants. This is why some of the finest shade-grown coffees are produced here, with complex flavor profiles that delight people around the world.

Jamison Savage, owner and producer of Savage & Deborah coffees, has supplied us directly with his exclusive coffees since 2020. They are shipped to us exclusively vacuum-packed by air freight to keep the supply chain as short as possible and the aroma as fresh as possible.
