Classic Blend

A classic espresso blend (80% Brazilian Arabica, 20% fine Indian Robusta) with a full body and deep, creamy chocolate flavor. We created it to offer the classic espresso experience that so many people love, but at the highest quality. We bought Fine Robusta directly from one of the best farms in India to anchor this blend with deep dark chocolate notes and a full body, then added chocolatey Brazilian Arabica beans that bring extra nougat notes and creaminess to the mix. The Indian component: For three years, we have sourced our single-origin green coffee directly from Mysore Plantation in the Indian state of Karnataka. The plantation belongs to the Rao family, who have been growing high-quality Robusta coffee there for 80 years.

The Brazilian component: Since purchasing Fazenda Sao Francisco da Bela Vista in Brazil in 1993, producer Tarcízio Aldo Zugliani has significantly improved the farm’s infrastructure over the years. For example, he built drying beds and invested in better processing machines and rotary dryers. He also planted the farm with young seedlings to increase quality and productivity. All these measures improved the quality of the harvest and contributed to the high quality of this Yellow Catuai Pulp Natural lot.
