Indien - Plantrich AA BIO / Espresso

We are delighted to present the new harvest of this fine organic Arabica from the Kerala region. This medium roast from India stands out for its harmonious interplay of caramelized sweetness and berry-like acidity. The cocoa and brioche aftertaste makes this an intriguing coffee that pairs wonderfully with milk and works just as well as an espresso.

India is better known for lowland-grown Robusta beans. That makes the exquisite cup profile of this highland-grown organic coffee all the more delightful. On fertile soils, the democratically organized Plantrich Cooperative has been producing a range of organic agricultural products, including coffee, spices, herbs, fruit, and cocoa, for 40 years. In addition to ecological farming and direct marketing of its products, supporting women producers is a central focus of the cooperative.
