Description

The bold, creamy body of this espresso has intense chocolate notes and tastes deliciously juicy, like a half-baked cookie. As it cools, sweet notes of caramel emerge. We roast this Icatu from Brazil to a bold, balanced profile, bringing the classic flavor expected from a single-origin Brazilian espresso to your cup.

More and more farms in Brazil are focusing on coffee quality over quantity. They approach cultivation, harvesting, and processing with great attention to detail. Brazil’s high altitudes and volcanic soils offer ideal conditions for producing the balanced, full-bodied coffees the country is famous for.

This coffee is processed natural. The fruit pulp is left on the bean and dries along with it. The pulp contains natural sweetness that permeates the bean as it dries, giving it a more intense flavor. Sebastião Curimbaba is a true visionary. From a young age, he worked alongside his father, Benedito Curimbaba, and together they laid the foundation for the Curimbaba Group. They acquired Fazenda Chapadão with a clear mission: to create a place where exceptional coffee could be grown. Through targeted investments in infrastructure and the ongoing development of the team, the farm has become a pioneer in quality and innovation in coffee production.
Fazenda Chapadão’s location offers perfect conditions for growing coffee and is known for its exceptional quality. Since joining the Especialíssimo program, the farm has consistently delivered top-quality specialty coffees year after year, setting new standards in the world of specialty coffee.
