About the Producers & Processing Site

The Riripa processing site is operated by Neguesse Debela and his company, SNAP, in the heart of Nensebo Woreda in West Arsi, Ethiopia. Riripa sources coffee cherries from smallholder growers across several surrounding communities, bringing together coffees from a region that is steadily gaining recognition for its quality.

Although coffees from this area have often been broadly classified as Sidama, West Arsi has been establishing an identity of its own. In recent years, the region has attracted increasing attention for its exceptional coffees, and Neguesse Debela is working to put Riripa on the map as one of its standout producers.

Why We Chose This Coffee

When selecting coffees for our menu, we aim to offer a range of profiles that appeal to all kinds of coffee drinkers. Riripa Natural immediately caught our attention for its beautifully balanced expression of a clean natural process.

Bright citrus, expressive fruit, and delicate florals come together with a nectar-like sweetness. Notes of orange blossom, mango, blueberry, and raspberry create a lively yet beautifully composed cup.

It was an easy decision to bring this coffee onto our menu. Riripa is a wonderful expression of an emerging coffee region, and we're excited to see West Arsi continue to gain recognition for the quality of its coffees.
