Description

COSTA RICA TARRAZÚ 🇨🇷
Dark or Medium Roast
Caramel, Milk Chocolate, Citrus, Green Apple

Single origin means one country, one crop, no blending.
Every flavour note you're tasting came from this one place, full stop.
That's the whole appeal: no other origin's in there helping it along.
What you taste is what Costa Rica actually produces.

Tarrazú is Costa Rica's most famous growing region, locally known as "Los Santos" after the string of towns named for saints running through it. It's not a marketing name it's just what the area's been called for generations, and the coffee's reputation has followed it just as long.

1,350m altitude, volcanic soil, and a genuinely mountainous, remote growing area.
The kind of conditions that slow cherry maturation right down.
Slower ripening means more time for the plant to build sugar and complexity into the bean before it's picked. That's the same altitude range that typically qualifies Tarrazú coffee for Strictly Hard Bean grading an internationally recognised mark for beans grown at genuine elevation.

Caturra and Catuai varietals, washed and dried, harvested December through February. Straightforward process, no shortcuts, done properly.

The Result=
Caramel and milk chocolate sweetness.
Bright citrus and green apple acidity cutting through.
Clean, complex, exactly what you'd expect from one of the world's most respected growing regions.

Available in Dark or Medium roast.
