Sourced from the farm of Javier Becerra in the celebrated region of Huila, this lot represents the classic excellence of Colombian specialty coffee. Coffee production in Colombia dates back to the early 1700s, and while it began as a large-scale crop, it has evolved into a nation-wide industry driven by small, family-owned estates. Today, producers like Javier benefit from generations of expertise and a logistics system built to highlight the unique quality of small-batch harvests.
Grown at 1,700 masl, this coffee is processed using the traditional washed method to highlight clarity and a refined structure. This meticulous approach ensures a perfectly balanced profile that showcases the vibrant terroir of Huila. Expect a creamy, buttery biscuit body complemented by sweet notes of honey and vanilla, all finished with a delicate tangerine citrus acidity.
