Sourced from the renowned growing region of Huila, this lot proves that decaffeinated coffee can offer the same complexity and quality as regular specialty offerings. This regional selection is treated using the Sugar Cane process, a natural method that removes caffeine while preserving the bean's cellular structure and inherent flavour profile.
The process utilises Ethyl Acetate -a natural compound derived from sugar cane combined with high mountain spring water to gently extract caffeine. Because the solvent is found naturally in coffee and fruits, it avoids the harsh chemicals often associated with decaffeination and instead enhances the coffee's natural sweetness. Expect a clean, vibrant cup with a smooth body and the classic balanced sweetness characteristic of premium Colombian coffee.
