Here at Repetition, whenever we have the chance to snag a lot from ASMUCAFE, we jump on the opportunity! We’re so excited to offer this coffee from El Tambo, a region in Colombia well regarded for specialty coffee production. These coffee cherries go through a unique double fermentation. After harvesting, they are left in the cherries for 14 hours, before being placed in fermentation tanks for 10 hours. After this process, the cherries are washed 3 to 4 times, and then dried in the sun for anywhere from 8 to 12 days. This fermentation process locks in the delicious flavors that make Colombian coffee a favorite for many!

ASMUCAFE is an organization of women coffee producers in Colombia who share resources and support each other in the complex world of coffee production. Women producers are incredibly important to us at Repetition, and we love to carry their products whenever we have the opportunity to! These efforts often go unnoticed, and as a women owned business, we’re grateful that we can support these trailblazers in the coffee world. 

When we tasted this coffee, we found it had a delicious and complex mouthfeel. The front of the cup brings flavors such as a crisp apple, which then tapers off into a smooth and sweet finish. If you’ve enjoyed our offerings from ASMUCAFE in the past, this one will not disappoint!
