Description

A coffee without a lot of fuss that always turns out well. It stands out for its chocolatey sweetness and medium body, complemented by intense, creamy notes of fine caramel and sweet almonds. To bring the classic flavor profile expected from a single-origin Brazilian espresso to the cup, we roast this Icatu from Brazil to a balanced medium roast.

More and more farms in Brazil are focusing on coffee quality rather than quantity. They devote great care and attention to detail to cultivation, harvesting, and processing. Brazil’s high altitudes and volcanic soils provide the perfect conditions for producing the balanced, full-bodied coffees the country has become famous for.

This coffee is processed as natural. The fruit pulp stays on the bean and dries along with it. The pulp contains natural sweetness that seeps into the bean as it dries, giving it a more intense flavor. Sebastião Curimbaba is a true visionary. From a young age, he worked alongside his father, Benedito Curimbaba, and together they laid the foundation for the Curimbaba Group. Together, they acquired Fazenda Chapadão with a clear mission: to create a place where outstanding coffee could be grown. Through targeted investments in infrastructure and the ongoing development of the team, the farm has become a pioneer in quality and innovation in coffee production.
Fazenda Chapadão’s location offers perfect conditions for growing coffee and is known for its exceptional quality. Since joining the Especialíssimo program, the farm has consistently produced top-tier specialty coffees year after year, setting new standards in the world of specialty coffee.
