Description
This Brazilian coffee comes from the gentle slopes of Serra da Mantiqueira, in the state of Minas Gerais, where small producers belonging to the COCARIVE cooperative carefully grow Yellow Bourbon cherries. Processed using the natural method to let the fruit shine, this coffee focuses above all on sweetness, comfort, and balance.
Profile:
A naturally processed Yellow Bourbon with a round, silky texture and gentle, well-integrated acidity. The natural processing adds lovely sweetness and a pleasant mouthfeel, making for an easy-to-enjoy cup.
Tasting notes:
Coconut notes bring a delicious sweetness from the first sips, followed by creamy milk chocolate. Delicate hints of cherry round things out with a subtle fruity touch. The finish is sweet, round, and lingering.
Ideal for:
Pour-over methods (V60, Chemex, Kalita), automatic drip coffee makers, French press—
as well as a smooth, velvety espresso that highlights its natural richness.
The story:
Grown in the Mantiqueira de Minas region, this coffee is the result of the collective work of passionate producers. The cherries’ slow maturation at high altitude encourages the development of sugars and aromas, and only carefully selected lots are chosen. A warm, reliable, generous Brazilian coffee, made for everyday enjoyment.
