Description

The Andrade family story began in 1901 at Capim Branco Farm in the town of Carmo do Paranaíba in the state of Minas Gerais. In the 1970s, the next generation established its own farms in the region, whose elevation of 1,100–1,200 m and balanced climate provide ideal conditions for high-quality coffee.
In the early 1990s, the brothers acquired São Silvestre Farm in Serra do Salitre to further increase production and quality. Thanks to favorable natural conditions, careful farming, and selective post-harvest processing, they produce award-winning coffees that are appreciated around the world.
The volcanic soils are particularly well suited to the Yellow Icatu, Yellow Catuaí, and Red Catuai varieties, which make up a large portion of production.
In 1991, the family was among the founders of the BSCA (Brazil Specialty Coffee Association), which supports producers in improving quality, sustainability, and international marketing. Through its own export company, the family sells its coffee directly from origin to customers around the world.
