Unique, exceptional, one of a kind… The plantations where this Arabica is grown, in the Bani Matar region of central Yemen, are at exceptionally high elevations, well above 2,000 m (6,560 ft), and benefit from soils with a unique mineral composition. The word Mocha in the coffee’s name comes from a port in Yemen, from which coffee begins its journey to countries around the world. Coffee plants growing in Yemen have adapted over centuries to the exceptionally difficult climatic and atmospheric conditions in the country. The result is this coffee’s exceptionally intriguing and complex flavor: in the cup, you’ll find a little chocolate sweetness, some exotic fruit and spice notes, plenty of grapes and wine-like flavors, and even cedar bark… and that’s not the full list; it’s worth trying it and adding to it. Naturally processed coffee (dry process).

We select the roast level for each coffee to bring out its natural qualities, and we’re also happy to adjust it based on your suggestions.

We package the coffee in three-layer, high-barrier bags, hermetically sealed and fitted with a degassing valve and a zipper or clip for repeated opening and closing.

By default, we send the coffee whole bean, but on request, we can grind it to your preferred coarseness, depending on your brewing method.
