Coffees from Guatemala are distinguished by their full flavor and aroma. Arabica accounts for 98% of Guatemala’s coffee production; just 2% is robusta.

This coffee comes from the New Orient region and the farm of farmer Oscar Lemus. It received a score of 83.5 points on the SCA scale.

It is grown in volcanic soil at elevations of 1,600–1,900 meters above sea level, on small farms covering 2–3 hectares. It is wet-processed at origin. It has a balanced, velvety, clean flavor and aroma with notes of dark chocolate and caramel, along with pleasant, moderate acidity. It is considered one of the best in the world. High caffeine content.

We roast the coffee offered to order and ship it promptly, so you receive exceptionally fresh coffee (sometimes even too fresh to drink right away – a minimum three-day “rest” period is recommended; chemical processes that affect its flavor continue for these three days after roasting).

We choose the roast level for each coffee to bring out its natural qualities, but we’re also happy to accommodate your suggestions.

We package the coffee in three-layer, high-barrier bags, hermetically sealed and fitted with a degassing valve and a zipper or clip for repeated opening and closing.

By default, we send the coffee whole bean, but on request we can grind it to your preferred size (depending on your brewing method).
