Virgola

Virgola was the first blend to come to life, the starting point of a journey that continues to this day. Its name is an invitation to keep going, not to stop, just as in life: sometimes, rather than closing a chapter, you need to move forward without putting a period at the end. This philosophy is reflected in its character: a blend that goes beyond the classic after-dinner coffee and can accompany you for (almost) the entire day. Originally, Virgola had a more extreme profile, designed for Northern European palates, with higher acidity and pronounced fruity notes. Through careful tasting and research by the whole team, we managed to give Virgola a more complete identity: a perfect balance between roundness and clarity, without ever betraying the original idea. A coffee that represents continuity, the choice to keep moving forward, always. Its aroma is pleasantly fresh and floral, with elegant notes of dark chocolate and cocoa bean that perfume the surrounding air. Its delicate yet pervasive flavor delights the palate with sweet, fruity notes that almost make it seem like a different beverage. Virgola has a balanced sweetness reminiscent of honey and candied orange. Its acidity is at times comparable to that of ripe fruit and at others to that of candied orange. Its notes are also elegant, recalling elderflower and jasmine, thanks to the percentage of Guatemala in the blend, which elevates the final cup’s aromatic profile. Its acidity is light, balanced, perceptible, and completes the beverage. The body is medium, pleasant, and elegant, creating a sense of lightness. The aftertaste lingers with notes of candied orange and dark chocolate, along with an irresistible floral note.
