Finca Corahe, located in the municipality of Zentla, Veracruz, is a farm with a rich history and a deep commitment to innovation and sustainability in the production of high-quality Arabica coffee. This commitment is reflected in its revolutionary coffee processing method, known as "Natural Honey," which is the result of more than three years of research and development.

This processing method is unique in the industry and is characterized by the use of specialized equipment to dehydrate coffee cherries. Built from stainless steel, this equipment ensures the process is safe and sanitary, guaranteeing the quality and safety of the coffee produced. In addition, Finca Corahe has several pieces of equipment, including an adaptation of a French-designed cacao drying system that originally arrived in Tabasco. The system was salvaged and modified in collaboration with the Tecnológico de Veracruz to dry coffee, demonstrating the farm’s capacity for innovation and adaptation.

Using this equipment has allowed Finca Corahe to produce coffee with unique flavors of caramel, fruit, chocolate, wine, and nuts. In addition, this process does not require water, significantly reducing the environmental impact of coffee production. It eliminates traditional waste and produces husks as a byproduct, which have a variety of uses.

Finca Corahe’s social commitment is also noteworthy. Most of the labor, especially in cherry selection and oro, comes from women in the local community, providing a vital source of income for their families and contributing to a sustainable and equitable coffee-growing model.

The coffee varieties grown at Finca Corahe, including Sarchimor, Caturra, Castillo, and Typica, are specialty and distinct. The farm has earned high scores for its specialty coffees in recent years, thanks to its privileged geographic location, soil quality, climate, and altitude.
