  • This coffee comes from the Nandi Hills in Kenya, where Rosebella has been growing coffee with her husband Samy since 2019. Around her farm, Rosebella began supporting women from the region as they entered coffee farming. What started as a group of 40 women gradually developed into a close-knit community of women coffee farmers. Today, Rosebella sources coffee from around 60 farmers who have organized and registered as Chepsangor Women.

  • The initiative focuses on the women growing coffee independently. Among other things, Rosebella provided them with coffee plants at reduced rates—some seedlings were even traded for eggs. This enabled the participants to gradually grow their own coffee plants and market their coffee themselves. Today, Chepsangor Women work together as a group and continue to develop their work and coffee farming in the region together.
