Ride is our darkest roast, with deep cacao, a peppery edge, and the earthy character we love in Sumatran coffee.
Shaped by Sumatra
We source this Garuda coffee through Covoya from smallholder farmers in Aceh and North Sumatra, where frequent rain and humidity make drying coffee a challenge.
To work with those conditions, farmers use a process called giling basah, or wet hulling. They remove the parchment layer around the beans while they’re still moist, allowing the beans to finish drying after hulling.
