Coffee from Papua New Guinea is rarely found in Europe, with the exception of Germany. Although coffee cultivation was introduced to the country only in 1937, fertile soils and suitable climatic conditions enabled the industry to develop rapidly. 87% of coffee production comes from small plantations and farms managed by local people and located in high, remote mountains at elevations of 1,300–1,800 m above sea level. The beans owe their exceptional quality to these conditions. For this reason, most of the coffee is grown using natural methods. A coffee with a balanced flavor and plenty of body. Slightly syrupy, with excellent, mild acidity and a very interesting, distinctive flavor. Good for espresso and blends. The symbol “A” indicates large bean size (above screen 17).

We roast the coffee offered to order and ship it promptly, so you receive exceptionally fresh coffee (sometimes even too fresh to drink right away—we recommend waiting at least three days; chemical processes that affect the flavor continue for these three days after roasting).

We select the roast level for each coffee to bring out its natural qualities, but we’re also happy to accommodate your preferences.

We pack the coffee in three-layer, high-barrier bags, hermetically sealed and fitted with a degassing valve and a zipper or clip for repeated opening and closing.

We usually ship coffee as whole beans, but on request we can grind it to your preferred size, depending on your brewing method.
