Description

Our Kenya is a washed, light roast coffee sourced from one of the world’s most celebrated coffee-growing regions. We roast it light to preserve the bright, vibrant acidity and let the origin speak for itself. This is a medium-bodied cup with a zesty, fruit-forward finish.

The cup starts bright and tart, with notes of white nectarine that add a sweet, juicy quality that carries throughout the cup. In the middle, sweet pineapple notes come forward, adding a tropical lift that deepens the fruit character. In the finish, a zesty hit of lime takes over, adding a bright citrus pop that lingers alongside a light fruit sweetness on the palate. The medium body and lively acidity make this a great cup for those who love a bright, fruit-forward coffee.

Roast Color: Light

Cupping Notes: White Nectarine, Pineapple, Lime Zest

Story: OurKenya is grown in the fertile foothills of Mount Kenya. Farmer plots are so small that size is gauged by the number of trees rather than the measurements of the land, which means producers often have more control to strategically pick and deliver only the ripest cherry to their local factory (wet-mill). Factories generally have an abundance of water lending to exquisite washing protocols that include soaking the beans in fresh water for long periods of time to solidify the hallmark Kenyan profiles.
