Kelachandra coffee have been stepping up in their speciality coffee offerings year on year, and this year some of their lots were just super. This Chandragiri Anaerobic Naturals was a great example a well processed anaerobic Naturals.

Being a relatively lower in elevation, the team has to work very hard, and has to be dilligent in the fermentation and the drying to ensure that the coffee tasted sweet, bright and complex, just the way we like them. This anaerobic Naturals took the ripest cherries, fermented them in steel tanks for 48 hours before they were dried over 24 days on raised beds.

Over the last two years, we have really enjoyed Chandragiris, and some of our favourite coffees from the the last two years have been Chandragiris. This Chandragiri has again been one of the stand out coffees for this year, and we're quite glad that a variety that's uniquely Indian keep cropping up in our favourite coffees year after year. We feel that Chandragiris have a naturally high sweetness compared to some other varieties especially as light roasts, and this coffee lives up to our expectations. We get a subtle fruity cup from this coffee with notes of Stone Fruit, Cacao, and a hint of floral aromas
