Another coffee with a story. During the colonial era, when coffee and other coveted goods such as spices were still transported by sailing ships, a journey from India to Europe took about six months. Along the way, exposed to the elements, the green coffee beans changed in color, size, and flavor. This created a distinctive note that people came to cherish. Today, Indian coffee farmers use the local monsoon to produce this specialty coffee, which has exactly the characteristics that were initially acquired unintentionally. They expose the coffee to the monsoon and process it with great care.
Our “monsooned” coffee is specially processed and imported directly from India. The traditional “monsooning” process is carried out in Malabar, a region on India's west coast, north of the city of Cochin. It grows at an elevation of 1,000 to 1,600 m.

An extravagant coffee, it is very smooth, with delicate sweet, malty notes and a hint of chocolate.
