Description

Huehuetenango is one of Guatemala’s three non-volcanic coffee regions, as well as its highest and driest under cultivation. Warm air rising from the Plains of Tehuantepec in Mexico meets cool air descending from the Cuchumatanes Mountains, creating a frost-protected microclimate well suited to high-altitude coffee production.

Rainforest Alliance Certified, this regional coffee combines Typica, Bourbon, Caturra and Catuaí beans grown by four Huehuetenango farmers. The certification reflects a commitment to more sustainable farming practices, environmental protection and the wellbeing of coffee-growing communities. The harvest is washed and graded SHB EP, with the green coffee carefully hand-sorted to remove defective beans and foreign material.

In the cup, it has a full, silky body and lively acidity. Bright orange notes provide a fresh lift, balanced by smooth milk chocolate and a comforting biscuit finish.
