Description
Catering 2022/23 – The Fortuna Ehrenfeld Filter Coffee by Heilandt.
This filter blend contains only coffee from Oaxaca in southeastern Mexico, Thomas’s adopted home (Red Beetle Coffee Lab). Thomas lives in Oaxaca most of the time, advising local farmers and helping with the coffee harvest and processing.
Because our Oaxaca Blend contains coffees from different farms in the region, it is a community blend that Thomas created exclusively for us.
Known primarily for growing agave for mezcal production, this region is famous for its fertile landscape, despite its elevation of around 1,500 meters. Here, coffee grows on small farms literally in the forest, and the nutrient-rich soil gives the coffee beans plenty of flavor!
All coffees in OAXACA were washed. This method produces a clean, balanced flavor profile in these highly aromatic beans.
The roast tastes chocolatey and has a very pleasant fruity sweetness.
