ESPRESSO 1 – Our all-rounder.
ESPRESSO 1. Straightforward, honest, no frills. The first blend from our roastery and, as such, our baby from day one. A piece of Heilandt history to enjoy. The blend of 40% organic Robusta and 60% Arabica gives our house blend ESPRESSO 1 its strength, pleasant sweetness, and full flavor.
The organic Robusta in the blend comes from Brazil, and the two Arabicas in ESPRESSO 1 are our La Laguna from northern Peru and a Brazilian coffee from our direct-trade partner OCAFI.
Both the Robusta and the coffee from OCAFI are responsible for the coffee's sweet notes. La Laguna from Peru adds the chocolate notes to our house blend.
Its nutty, caramel-like, and chocolatey aroma makes our Espresso 1 the perfect partner for coffee drinks such as cappuccino or café latte.
With or without milk, Espresso 1 is easygoing and works with any espresso preparation method. Like jeans with a white T-shirt—it always works.
