About the Farm

El Mirador is Elkin Guzmán's farm, a benchmark for highly precise experimental coffees. Its 31 hectares have soils rich in organic matter and semi-shade systems that promote slow, even, balanced ripening. The farm continuously monitors data such as Brix degrees, pH, temperature, density, and ripeness, adjusting each process according to the variety and desired profile.

About the Region

Huila is one of Colombia's most renowned coffee-growing regions and a global benchmark in specialty coffee. Its mountains, microclimates, and growing conditions produce clean, sweet, expressive washed coffees. Combining coffees from different producing areas creates a profile representative of the region, with bright acidity, balanced body, and a juicy sensation that reflects the richness of this high-altitude Colombian origin and its vibrant coffee-growing tradition.

Tasting Notes

With a very pronounced, citrusy, fruity aroma, this coffee unfolds notes of grapefruit, green apple, berries, and bergamot. Its bright, medium-high acidity brings plenty of freshness, balanced by medium-high sweetness. It has a medium-high, juicy body and medium intensity, making for an expressive, fresh, complex cup that is especially enjoyable as a filter brew.
