The name of this coffee comes from the words “Kijani,” meaning green, and “Kiboko,” meaning hippopotamus. It consists of carefully selected lots of SL-24, SL-28, Ruiru 11, Batian, and K7 varieties grown in the rich volcanic soils of Kirinyaga and Kiambu.

This is a classic washed Kenya from the latest harvest, with lively, lemony acidity, flavors of wild berries, rhubarb, and sun-dried tomatoes. The coffee is velvety and round. It received a cupping score of 87 points.
