A Unique Coffee experience

The success of this variety does not only lies in its variety but also in its meticulous post-harvest processing.

After the cherries are handpicked, they undergo a 24-hour anaerobic fermentation process, during which the cherries are wrapped in plastic to keep the mucilage intact. This step is crucial, as it enhances the coffee’s natural sweetness and allows the complex flavors to develop further.

Following fermentation, the coffee is dried on patios for 19 days. This slow drying process ensures the coffee retains its distinct flavor characteristics while developing a clean and balanced cup profile.

The combination of innovative processing and careful drying methods contributes to its consistent performance on both national and international stages.

Flavor Profile: A Symphony of Sweetness and Balance

This coffee is celebrated for its unique and highly sought-after flavor profile.

  • Sweetness: A high-intensity sweetness defines the cup, reminiscent of honey or ripe tropical fruits.
  • Body: The coffee has a medium body, offering a smooth and satisfying mouthfeel.
  • Acidity: Its medium acidity is vibrant yet well-balanced, adding depth without overwhelming the cup.

This harmonious balance of sweetness, body, and acidity makes Jasmine Garden a versatile coffee that shines in various brewing methods.

Its truly special is its combination of variety, processing, and terroir. Grown in the fertile volcanic soils of Costa Rica, this coffee benefits from ideal conditions for producing high-quality beans. Alejo Castro’s attention to detail at every stage, from cultivation to drying, ensures that Jasmine Garden consistently exceeds expectations.

It’s not just a coffee—it’s a journey of flavor, innovation, and passion. Whether you’re brewing it for competition or enjoying it at home, Jasmine Garden is a coffee that captivates the senses and leaves a lasting impression.
