Description

VOLPE E CAPRA - the story behind it!

Two friends, two baristas – one shared dream: to develop the perfect coffee.

Christoph Ziegler and Alexander Lang have spent years at espresso machines and in front of barista course participants. They share not only a passion for good coffee, but also a deep curiosity about everything behind it: bean origins, quality, roast profiles, extraction, sensory evaluation, latte art – genuine coffee knowledge they’ve built up over the years.

The two are connected not only by their passion for good coffee, but also by their nicknames:
Fox - Volpe in Italian and
Goat - Capra in Italian

What began as an inside joke became an idea: What if we created our own coffee? A coffee that brings together everything we love?

Together with Röstwerk Herzogkaffee , Volpe and Capra got to work. Hours of cupping, countless test profiles, discussions about nuances, roast levels, and extraction – until it was clear: This is our blend.

Volpe e Capra is the result of their years of barista experience and their uncompromising love of quality. A balanced, pleasantly rounded coffee with low fruitiness and full body, and an aroma that feels like a warm promise:
Cocoa, chestnuts, caramel, maple syrup, almonds, nougat.

A blend that shines not only in an espresso machine, but also shows its strengths with almost any brewing method – from classic espresso to a creamy flat white.
And for latte art? Perfect. No surprise – Christoph has taught latte art courses for years and drew on his experience specifically for this.

Volpe e Capra is a coffee that shows what happens when two friends share their passion, celebrate their nicknames – and create a blend that can do just about everything except be boring.
