Intense Blend

Intense Blend is a house blend. Few single-origin coffees offer perfect harmony of aroma, color, body, and flavor. Blends seek to achieve this balance.

Each coffee used in a blend should contribute its own flavor. A dark roast masks the undesirable flavors of Robustas and other coffees with low acidity, while enhancing their bold character. Conversely, many high-altitude Arabicas, often much more acidic than other types of coffee, have less body.

There are no rules to the art of blending coffees; it consists of combining coffees that complement one another and create an exceptional cup.

Bold and rich in the cup

Intense Blend is a house blend with a bold, rich flavor in the cup. Made with 70% Arabica and 30% Robusta, it produces a beautiful crema for espresso and ristretto lovers. If you usually drink longer coffees, try Congo Lac Kivu. It’s a little less strong, but less bitter.
