Meksyk El Chorro – Chiapas

Washed coffee grown organically in the high mountains of southern Mexico, in the states of Chiapas and Oaxaca, in the shade of carefully selected trees that protect it from the sun and enrich the soil. Beans from high-altitude plantations (SHG) produce a full-bodied, rich-tasting brew. Large beans with a full, balanced, smooth aroma and notes of caramel, cinnamon, nuts, and fruit. Low acidity, a beautiful bouquet, and a pleasant, sweet, caramel-and-chocolate flavor. An excellent afternoon coffee, considered one of the best coffees in the world.

We roast the coffee offered to order and ship it promptly, so you receive exceptionally fresh coffee (sometimes even too fresh to drink right away—we recommend a minimum three-day “resting period”; during these three days after roasting, chemical processes that affect the flavor are still taking place in the coffee).

We choose the roast level for each coffee to bring out its natural qualities, but we’re also happy to accommodate your preferences.

We pack the coffee in three-layer, high-barrier bags, hermetically sealed and equipped with a degassing valve and a zipper or clip for repeated opening and closing.

We ship the coffee whole bean by default, but on request we can grind it to your preferred setting (depending on your brewing method).
